15 Oct Andrea & Jeremy {Lowndes Grove}
You know those weddings you see where you wish a) you knew the couple and b) you were invited? Well, holy moly, that’s the case with Andrea and Jeremy’s Big Day at Lowndes Grove Plantation! The couple teamed up with A Charleston Bride for a superiorly festive day filled with bright colors, bold patterns, and custom details in spades. They kicked things off with a lovely ceremony at St. Luke’s Chapel, then headed to the plantation on the Ashley for one heck of a party. Both foodies with a passion for cooking together, Andrea and Jeremy were adamant serving guests a top menu showcasing Charleston cuisine, which they got thanks to catering by Fish Restaurant. Hunter McRae caught every last bit of the festivities, and snapped shots ranging her hallmark candid people shots to those of the decor: patterned aqua linens, silver chivari chairs, and crazy lush blooms from Tiger Lily Weddings. As the hours ticked by, Andrea changed out of her ruched fit-and-flare gown and slipped into a swoon-worthy fringed frock to danced the night away away with her groom to the sounds of 17 South. Sighing for sure.
