28 Jan Andrea & Dave {Cotton Dock at Boone Hall Plantation}
You’ve heard of love at first sight—now get ready for love after seeing each other from across the room for four years. That’s the story of Andrea and Dave, who crossed paths every single Sunday of those years without ever imagining that after a whirlwind romance, a move across state lines, and an extensive (four-year!) engagement, they’d be walking down the aisle one day. But that day finally came, and it was “everything we had ever dreamed of,” in Andrea’s book. The couple swapped I do’s amidst the swooping oaks at Boone Hall Plantation and flanked with florals by Out of the Garden. A cozy, candlelit party on the Cotton Dock followed their vows, and guests got a taste of the bride and groom’s favorite foods—his beloved Pittsburgh pierogis and her Lowcountry staple, fried green tomatoes. While everyone mingled and supped, Andrea and Dave stole away to share a private dinner together before dancing their way back into the barn for tunes by Bunn DJ Company. The duo closed the night with one last dance and then hightailed it to their getaway car through a sparkler sendoff. Congrats to the happy couple on their long-awaited wedding!
