16 Jun Amy & Seth | Legare Waring House
Amy and Seth met while working their first jobs in finance in New York City. Later, when the two had passed the pop-the-question milestone, they knew that they wanted something in a natural setting and on an intimate scale for their celebration. So the pair, who had declared the Legare Waring House a perfect fit for Amy’s “Woodland Fairy Tale” vision, packed their bags and headed south. As for me? The minute I started clicking through the dreamy photos by Hyer Images, my heart was aflutter. Amy’s bridal look set the style tone, what with her full skirted Pnina Tornai gown, loose curls, and wild bouquet of greens and blush garden roses by Branch Design Studio—swoon! From there, the rest was pure divinity thanks to planner Megan from Mingle. The couple exchanged vows under a birch chuppah and led their guests through the allée of oaks to the home’s courtyard where a billowing, swagged tent held the reception. Tall centerpieces of with delphinium and astilbe sat atop the dining tables, while each of the crystal chandeliers were draped with wild garlands—amazing. Between the elegant event design, bites from Brick Lane Catering, sweets from Ashley Bakery, and tunes from 17 South Band, Amy and Seth’s destination wedding was magic from beginning to end. Congratulations to the beautiful couple!
