17 Oct Amanda & Karim [The Island House}
Monday mornings following such perfect autumn weekends can be tough, but weddings like Amanda and Karim’s make the get-up-and-go so worth it. How could we not be inspired to tackle the week after enjoying these dreamy Ava Moore Photography images? Inspired by Amanda’s French heritage and her and Karim’s shared love of Southern cuisine, the happy couple put together a darling soirée at The Island House that included peach and coral blooms, a tent with iron chandeliers hanging from above, tables set with vintage china and even little “merci” notes at each place setting. Karim’s best man, who also happens to be the culinary executive director at Fish Restaurant, helped create the evening’s menu—a perfect fusion of Southern flavors and French fare. C’est parfait, oui? Congratulations, Amanda and Karim, and here’s to a new week, y’all!
