Smokey pinks, a pinch of seersucker, and a dose of industrial rustic—these are just a few of the ingredients that made Allyson and Lance’s wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation so darn pretty. On a dreamy Lowcountry evening this past June, the couple said “I do” at the French Huguenot Church downtown before leading their guests to a gorgeous reception on the banks of the Ashley River, where lawn games, scallop-trimmed umbrellas, lounges, and Southern fare (think bacon bar, mac ‘n’ cheese, and so much more) awaited. With Haley Kelly of A Charleston Bride and the PPHG catering team behind all the elements, it’s no wonder things look so darn flawless. Isn’t it magical when a wedding somehow strikes that perfect balance of elegant and relaxed? With that as the measure of success, Allyson and Lance’s day was full of magic. Cheers to the newlyweds!
