16 Sep Albina & Grey {The Pavilion at Patriots Point}
Albina and Grey’s love story has me beaming from ear to ear. It’s all thanks to Grey’s cousin, Baylee, who brought the two lovebirds together. Here’s how it happened: Russian-born Albina was waiting tables during her last semester in college and served Baylee and Grey one night. Baylee, who happens to speak Russian, chatted with Albina in her native tongue, and when the part-time waitress delivered the cousins’ check, Baylee told her (in ruski), “My cousin thinks you’re beautiful.” A non-Russian speaker, Grey was oblivious to the exchange. Nonetheless, those five words began a courtship that brought us to today and made it possible to share the beautiful details of their wedding at the Pavilion at Patriots Point. The outdoor ceremony was dream-like as Albina walked down an aisle of white flower petals to meet her husband-to-be while a flock of dazzling bridesmaids in blue gowns looked on. Inside the Snyder tent the space was filled elaborately with tables covered in blue silk and embroidery and rows and rows of fresh hydrangeas from Charleston Flower Market. The newlyweds had the time of their lives dancing the night away and eating a Delicious Desserts cake that looked straight out of a fairytale. After a quick change into casual clothes for their sparkler exit, they headed off into their own brand of happily ever after. Many thanks to Riverland Studios for sharing these images with us and cheers to this couple with their super-romantic love story.
