30 Sep Abby and Joseph {Part Two | Founders Hall}
The wait is over and it was soooo worth it. We promised you a doozie of a wedding for the second installment of Abby and Joseph’s I do’s. Over at TWR we have been lost in these images, lost in this wedding…it is so, so fabulous. And every gorgeous detail coordinated by the always impeccable designers at WED was captured to perfection with Leigh Webber Photography behind the lens.
Photographer, Leigh Webber Photography graciously shared some of the details from the night.
“…A ceremony and cocktail Hour at the Legare Waring House and a Founders Hall Cocktail Hour and Tisch Ceremony. Housed under a large, clear top tent canopied by The Oaks, Abby and Joseph exchanged traditional Jewish vows.Guests greeted Abby and Joseph, who were in separate rooms, for the Tisch Ceremony, which was held prior to the wedding ceremony. Ceremony Abby and Joseph married Under The Oaks at Legare Waring House. The wedding ceremony began at sundown, when the Sabbath was complete. Housed under a large, clear top tent canopied by The Oaks, Abby and Joseph exchanged traditional Jewish vows. TEC transformed the tent by hanging large crystal chandelier along the aisle. The oaks made their dramatic presence with uplighting, creating a dramatic entrance for Guests. Sara york grimshaw designs and her floral team created a custom chuppah with greenery, white florals, lace remnants from Abby’s mothers wedding dress. A friend of Abby and Joseph’s set up shop at the back of the tent and painted the ceremony. Afterwards at the reception, Founder’s Hall was transformed from stark and modern to warm and welcoming by the design mavens’s at WED. Abby and Joseph wanted their guests to feel relaxed and at home. Overstuffed leather furniture topped with custom made pillows completed the lounge area. In keeping with the “at home feel” rattan furniture from Snyder created a welcoming space for guests to take a break from dancing on the back lawn of Founders Hall. Guest dining tables were topped with smoke crinkle linens and adorned with candlelight and gold vases filled with white blown open roses. The wedding cake was a four tier red velvet cake featured a climbing oak tree, a motif continued throughout- from printing to pillows.”
