20 Mar Page & Brandon | Engagement Session
When Page and Brandon met watching a Clemson football game at a friend’s house, they learned they had gone to the same high school without ever having bumped into one another. That day, though, the two hit it off and began dating; a few years later, Brandon proposed at White Point Garden on the Battery. The spot—beneath a massive live oak—was especially sentimental to the couple as it’s where Page’s dear dog, “Rut,” had loved to play before he passed. “When Brandon proposed,” says Page, “he said he couldn’t think of a better place because Rutledge would be there with us.” To announce their engagement, they sought out shutterbug Faith Teasley, who met them at Botany Bay on Edisto Island and then headed to the East End of Folly Beach where Morris Island Lighthouse looks toward the shore and out toward the Atlantic. With so many powerful landscapes for backdrops, Page’s simple, yet elegant, dress by Monique Lhuillier was perfection and her flower crown from Loluma added the ideal “boho-chic” detail to the entire look. Enjoy the images (and the wild-island escape they bring you), and cheers to the newlyweds, who just exchanged vows a few weeks ago.
