We admit we’re totally biased because we think that Charleston is the.perfect.spot for a destination wedding. Historic buildings, beautiful plantations, warm weather–what’s not to love? Meet today’s couple Allison and Mike, the Alabama based twosome who seem to agree, given they chose the Holy City for their nuptials. Here’s a fun fact about these two: Mike proposed to Allison on the top of a mountain that overlooked the city Icelandic city of Reykjavik. Allison was so excited that she screamed, “put the ring on my finger!” The duo booked Magnolia Plantation & Gardens for their “I do’s” in front of 65 of their closest family and friends, and we can’t tell you how much we love the colorful photos from Catherine Ann Photography. As the azaleas are trying to bud now, a look at those in full bloom on their Big Day teases spring in all the right ways.
