Who remembers their freshman college orientation? It might be a foggy blur to you, but Celia and Spencer can’t forget theirs. After they met the first day at NYU’s summer orientation and stayed up all night talking until sunrise. When they returned for classes in August, the two were inseparable. Fast forward six years later, and the pair jetted off to New York City for their anniversary. In Central Park (in the pouring rain) Spencer grabbed Celia’s hand and, before popping the question, told her he’d been thinking about that night for nearly their entire relationship. From there, the surprises kept rolling in: dinner in Manhattan with their parents; a limo ride with their best college friends; and a room at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel, where Celia’s late grandmother had honeymooned. The happy couple tied the knot June 3, 2017, at Boone Hall Plantation. Since the two wanted to go for a “Black Tie in a Barn” theme, the team at Pure Luxe Bride created a glamorous party dressed in navy, blush, and gold tones.
