11 Sep Jean & Patrick | The Riviera Theatre
Here in Charleston, most of us are on the other side of all Irma wreaked these past few days. Our hearts go out to all those who fared so very much worse than those of us here in South Carolina. In the spirit of keeping on, we wanted to share this sweet story with all of you in the hopes it would lift your hearts and take your mind off the troubles of the day. Hang in there, everyone!
Two Christmases ago Patrick proposed to Jean and in the blink of an eye they started brainstorming what parts of their wedding day were the most important elements to them. A meaningful ceremony with Patrick’s nine-year-old daughter, Ava, was number one. A close second? Jean including her Scottish heritage via bagpipers. (Those musicians played their hearts out when she walked down the aisle, on and off in the ceremony, and even as the newlyweds and guests paraded from Grace Church on Wentworth Street to The Riviera Theatre at Belmond Place Charleston on King). Jean’s last wish was a whole lot of hydrangea, thank you very much, which Lotus Flower flowed accommodated and then some. Add Stacey from Red Letter Events and every last bit of their dreams were worked in in elegant, shipshape fashion. Enjoy their spirited, stylish day, and best to all of you out there.
