There is something about intimate backyard weddings that just make our hearts go pitter patter. Well, Kelly and Scott’s Lowcountry affair, beautifully captured by Stephanie Adkins Photography, has officially been added to the list of our favorite such fêtes! Surrounded by a small group of close family, the couple exchanged vows in a beach ceremony officiated by one of the bride’s four sisters and then stole away for romantic portraits by the surf. The reception took place in the oak-shaded backyard of yet another one of Kelly’s sisters, the focal point being a loooong dining table flanked with infinity-style chairs from EventHaus, set with green glass goblets and place settings from Polished!, and accented with and a meandering garland table runner. Add in delicious fare, great wine, and dancing on the back porch under the strung twinkle lights, and it’s all a summer wedding is meant to be. A big thank you to Kelly and Scott for giving us a precious look into your intimate day, and cheers to the both of you!
