31 May Courtney & Richard | Lowndes Grove Plantation
What better way to wrap up this lovely month of May than with Courtney and Richard’s stunningly elegant, snowy white wedding at Lowndes Grove Plantation. The planning maestros at WED really have it down here, making a dreamland that’s all things chic and posh, while remaining relaxed and romantic. To start the festivities, Courtney and Richard exchanged vows on the front lawn of the historic mansion and then invited guests to a cocktail hour. There, everyone gathered around the escort card display, where their names were nestled between amber votives and towering arrangements of white phalaenopsis orchids. Dreamy! The beauty continued as people meandered into a fully draped white tent, where gold and crystal chandeliers glowed and countless fluffy flowers bloomed. Tip of the day? Mix your tables shapes! We love how Courtney and Richard’s seated dinner layout mixed long banquet-style, round, and rectangular tables. The combination not only allows you to display a variety of centerpieces, like these from SYG Designs, but it also makes for stellar photos. I mean, it just doesn’t get any more timeless than long stemmed French tulips, people. Hats off to Courtney and Richard and many happy returns, you two.
