10 Apr Caroline & Jason | American Theater
Curtain call, dearies! We’ve got a double feature for you this week with back-to-back weddings at two of Charleston’s loveliest old-fashioned theaters. How fun! We’re starting with Caroline and Jason’s Big Day, which began with a gorgeous photo fest featuring Caroline’s knockout lace sleeved gown from Kate McDonald. After wowing her groom (and posing with her maids), Caroline, Jason, and crew headed to the French Huguenot Church where the couple officially became husband and wife. The partying then kicked off at Upper King’s 1942 American Theater, one of the historic venues beautifully tended to by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group (PPHG). Upon arrival, guests were greeted first with a marquee wishing the couple congratulations, then with cocktails and popcorn. After moseying in to the ballroom, they gathered around dining tables topped with arrangements of white blooms and greenery, simple enough to allow the theater’s own style and character to shine—love it! With dinner from the PPHG kitchen and Fantasy Band owning the tunes, Caroline and Jason’s soirée was a surefire success. Cheers, Caroline and Jason!
