15 Mar Alexis & Jarrett {The Beaufort Inn}
Oh goodness gracious, Alexis and Jarrett’s Southern soirée is just what I needed this morning. How could it not quench every beauty craving loaded as it is with so very many pretty details? For starters, Alexis chose a fit and flare lace gown, long veil, and a blush bouquet tied with a bow to complete her bridal ensemble, a look that popped perfectly against her troop of soft pink bridesmaids. Once she’d donned her finest, she met Jarrett for an uber-romantic first look in the back gardens of The Beaufort Inn. (For the uninitiated, the 19th century Victorian era inn is the perfect pink palace for any wedding in the fishing village of Beaufort, a little more than an hour south of Charleston.) From there, it was on to the ceremony, where the two sealed their vows with a kiss before heading to the reception where long banquet tables were lined with elegant candelabras, hundreds of pink tulips, and golden vases. Smilax and quatrefoil chandeliers hung above and cast a romantic light that glittered when it struck the smattering of sequin linens. Just charming. We hope you enjoy every pretty bit of this gem of a wedding and we hope that Alexis and Jarrett enjoy the happiest of unions.
