15 Aug Lisa and Joe {Planter’s Inn}
I have a lot of favorite places in Charleston, SC and this one is absolutely on my list! I am especially a fan of Peninsula Grill in the Planter’s Inn (the coconut cake is a must have). Alas, I digress….back to the wedding. The festivities began for Lisa and Joe with the bride being given away by her brothers, Scott and David. Family and friends witnessed the lovely exchange of vows at Mount Pleasant Presbyterian Church. After the ceremony, the wedding party travelled back to the Planter’s Inn for a night of dinner and dancing under the stars in the secluded downtown courtyard. A horse drawn carriage whisked the elated couple of to their honeymoon in the Dominican Republic.
Lisa shared a few highlights…Everyone enjoyed the elegant cocktail black and white atmosphere splashed with the glow of lantern lights under the pavilion tent at the courtyard reception. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the music inviting. The activities included the Photobooth—a hit, dancing and the candy ‘bar’ consisting of black and white assorted candies for party favors.
