12 Aug Sarah & Steven’s Polynesian Wedding {Alhambra Hall}
Alhambra Hall in Mt. Pleasant was transformed by the Yoj Events team into a Polynesian paradise for Sarah and Steven’s cultural affair. Authenticity was paramount to the couple and they incorporated a whole roasted pig served on wood block, mahi mahi ceviche, pansit, fresh fruits galore, exotic indigenous florals, natural wood tones highlighted by bright florals, and traditional fire spinner. I must say, there must have been some fine detective work to find a fire spinner in Charleston, SC! Vibrant colors and emotions marked this wedding. The sweet groom was absolutely overwhelmed at the sight of his bride.
The groom is from Guam and his family was flying here for the wedding, so the couple wanted them to feel at home by incorporating multiple cultural elements. Sarah secretly worked with Yoj Events to hire the fire spinner as a surprise for the groom.
