If you’re craving some Southern sophistication in your life, look no further! We’ve found a wedding that is just the ticket and then some. Ben met Dana while both were in school at Furman University and, after dating for a while, was introduced to his darling’s family while they were vacationing on Hilton Head Island, a spot that has played host to Dana’s family’s R&R for nearly 20 years. So when Ben popped the question, planning a sweet ceremony at Belfair Plantation in the nearby town of Bluffton made oh-so perfect and sentimental sense. With photo wizards amelia + dan photography documenting the Big Day, the couple swapped vows in style—did you notice how Dana’s daisy-patterned Modern Trousseau gown mimicked the wedding signage just perfectly?—and amid family, friends, and no shortage of smiles. Later, Ben hopped on stage with The Rivertown Band mid-reception to play a song on his groomsmen-gifted Les Paul guitar.
