You know those couple portraits that a) make you want to be friends with the starring duo and b) also make you want to get invited to their wedding because you know it’ll be an honest-to-goodness good time? So goes it with Layla and Chris’ engagement session shot by Virgil Bunao. These two look so at ease and mellow, no wonder they picked Folly Beach for their wedding this coming April. And as for the images, what better way to tour Charleston—from cobblestone streets to charming alleys and allées to marshscapes—than tagging along this shoot? Their session isn’t loaded with props or costumey fashion…rather, it’s the realness of the couple’s connection and their joy amid a romantic city that really shines. We couldn’t love that more!
