When sweet bride Kellie awoke on her wedding day to dark skies and rain she was less than thrilled. Thankfully as the day rolled on, the skies opened up, the sun came through, and she and Trent found themselves in one of those magical post-rainstorm evenings that only Charleston can create. And what better place to enjoy an evening like that than under the Ravenel Bridge at the Cooper River Room? After their simple outdoor ceremony on the back lawn, Kellie and Trent lead guests inside the ballroom (its walls feature murals of Lowcountry scenery) where all enjoyed a fabulous dinner from Mosaic Catering. We love how the ladies of Engaging Events not only kept this bride happy and calm through a day that could have involved a rain plan, but also how they knocked the reception design out of the park with green and white florals and tons of candlelight.
