03 Oct Leah & Steven {Lowndes Grove Plantation}
Today’s beautiful bride, Leah, told the ladies of Loluma that she wanted her wedding to “look and smell like the Bellagio Botanical Gardens.” With that specific (and quite glamorous) vision in mind, the talented designers got to work creating an elegant garden-inspired affair at Lowndes Grove for Leah, Steven, and their guests to enjoy. Leah’s bridal look—a timeless lace strapless gown, soft curls, a lush bouquet of fluffy white peonies and a fur stole for when the November chill set in later in the evening—set the tone for the uber-stylish event. The tented courtyard was filled to the brim with flora from hydrangea to stock, snapdragon, and blushing roses, all of which were set against a soft white backdrop of draping, table linens, and upholstered dining chairs. We especially love how they tied in a bit of Charleston in with antique mirror table numbers bearing scripted Holy City locations and streets like (The) Gibbes, Rutledge (Ave.), and The Battery. From the indulgent dinner prepared by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group to the sounds of Lowhills Band to the sparkler exit at the evening’s end, this Charleston wedding has all the boxes checked off. Cheers, Leah and Steven!
