Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it too? Or in bride Taylor’s case, have a lace gown and enjoy a tulle skirt too! We’re being treated to a batch of bridal loveliness from the lens of Taylor Rae Photography today, and trust us, each image will have you more and more convinced that a detachable overskirt is the way to go. Taylor, who purchased her gown(s) at Fabulous Frocks, spent the day out at Wingate Plantation having her bridal portraits taken in the bridal suite, on the waterside lawn, and even from the rope swing that hangs from one of the home’s majestic oaks. We love how some images show off the the tulle skirt overlay while others showcase the fitted silhouette of the lace sheath gown beneath. No matter which way she twirled or posed, each look was perfectly accented by a petit bouquet of hydrangea and peonies and her hair and makeup by Lashes & Lace. When the clouds opened up halfway through the session, the photo party huddled under a clear umbrella and made their way to the bridal cottage’s covered porch for rainy portraits. Perfection all around.
