From blushing bouquets to fluffy flower girls, Marissa and Brett’s wedding at Boone Hall Plantation has everything that we love about a beautiful Charleston celebration. On a sunny day this past May, Marissa donned her lacey Hayley Paige gown picked up her pink bouquet of peonies, garden roses, scabiosa pods, and astilbe, and walked down the aisle to meet her groom. Under the magnificent oaks and surrounded by the dearest loved ones, Marissa and Brett said “I do” before walking to the plantation’s waterside Cotton Dock for their reception. There, inside the rustic space, the fabulous Ooh! Events team had hung white draping from the rafters, topped the dining tables with blush and peach flora in vintage wooden crates, and prepped every detail to perfection. As guests entered they were greeted with cocktails and mini tacos served from Cru Catering—what a fun hors d’oeuvres to set the tone for the night! And then there was the stunning cake by ABCD Cakes, which looked almost too pretty to eat with its lace motif. It’s clear from the Riverland Studios images that they newlyweds—and their guests—had an amazing evening of dancing and celebrating. And with the newlyweds departing via a vintage Rolls Royce from ACW Limo, the night was capped off in perfect form. Cheers, you two!
