08 Aug Elizabeth & Hewitt {Hibernian Hall}
Happy Monday, TWR darlings! We’re getting this smoking hot week off to the prettiest of starts thanks to Elizabeth and Hewitt’s romantic Charleston nuptials. A classic and feminine bride herself, Elizabeth wanted the wedding to reflect her own timeless and elegant sensibilities. Loluma did just that when decking out the ceremony space, which was in the former 19th century Carolina Hotel’s hidden courtyard. There, white fabric was simply draped across a majestic oak tree while pedestal urns with boxwood topiaries flanked the “aisle” and created the perfect Southern garden look. Once the couple exchanged vows, the newly minted Mr. and Mrs. and their guests headed across Meeting Street to Hibernian Hall for an elegant reception featuring beaucoup of candlelight, pink blooms, and a chic lounge that hugged the dance floor. Salthouse Catering and Spike by Snyder made sure everyone had their fill of delicious bites and sips before the Crystal Clear Band turned up the tunes and got everyone dancing. One of the best moments? When the band lead the Mr. & Mrs. and wedding guests in a second line parade down to the front steps of the hall for the couple’s grand exit. All of our best to Elizabeth and Hewitt!
