12 May Cassandra & James {Founders Hall}
Cassandra and James tied the knot at Founders Hall, a modern, chic venue nestled amongst the centuries-old oaks of Charlestowne Landing, where the Holy City’s settlers landed and set up the town’s first outpost. Flash forward a few hundred years and there stood James, who serves in the Air Force, looking very GQ in his navy blue tux, and Cassandra, wowing him and their guests in a strapless lace and beaded gown with side swept hair. Ah! All this loveliness comes from the lens of Captured by Kate, and goodness, it’s a doozy. The two exchanged vows in a ceremony that included a mini-toast that kicked off the celebrating with family and friends who had traveled from all corners of the country (and beyond). Afterward, everyone headed to the reception hall where white blooms and chilled bottles of champagne atop navy linens awaited and Good Food Catering served up a scrumptious Southern spread. With Pinnacle Charleston pumpin up the music and Butter Cupcakes providing the sweet fix, Cassandra and James’ reception was a guaranteed hit. Bravo to the lovebirds and best wishes for the happiest of marriages.
