Hannah’s bridal portraits have us absolutely breathless with their recipe of all things Charleston including tradition, nostalgia, and an historic property riddled with ages old live oaks and starring a gorgeous gal in a gorgeous lace gown. A local through and through, Hannah headed downtown to her all-girls school alma mater, Ashley Hall, for a photo session with Caroline Ro. The bride-to-be retraced her steps at her old haunts—the gardens and McBee House spiral staircase—this time with her gown’s lace train trailing behind. The McBee drawing room, with its saffron-yellow walls and floor-to-ceiling French doors, made for the perfect space to capture her timeless bridal look—a swept back ’do by Charleston Events Hair & Makeup and a blooming bouquet of garden roses and anemones by Branch Design Studio. From classic portrait shots on one of the antique settees to playful moments twirling in her wedding gown, this session is pure magic from beginning to end. Congratulations, Hannah, and way to realize those little girl dreams.
