22 Apr Brianna & Matt {River House at Lowndes Grove Plantation}
Brianna and Matt, who met and fell in love while living in the same dorm building in college, knew they wanted a vintage-inspired wedding in Charleston. The River House at Lowndes Grove Plantation made answered the call with its charming tented patio, riverfront views, and ancient oaks. Brianna, clearly a bride with fabulous taste, selected an antique-hued gown with stunning beadwork for herself while her maids each wore dresses of their own choosing—a look pulled together by matching bouquets of varying greeneries. After Brianna and Matt were pronounced man and wife, guests enjoyed lawn games like giant Jenga and Yahtzee as well as yummy bites from Patrick Properties Hospitality Group. One of our favorite DIY details from this wedding has to be the table markers made from wooden tree slabs and labeled with nails and yarn reading important names and dates to the newlyweds. Cheers to Brianna and Matt, and cheers to another great weekend in Charleston!
