24 Feb Brittney & Patrick {Gadsden House}
Tennessee pair Brittany and Patrick are what you might call the outdoorsy type—they adore days spent biking, boating, and most everything else that’s literally under the sun. The couple came together after college and this shared love brought their love to an open-air proposal and to a rustic wedding in the courtyard of the Gadsden House on East Bay Street. Post-ceremony, King Street Hospitality Group flipped the courtyard to create a glimmering reception, laden with cross-back chairs, handmade tables, and gold-rimmed glassware. And take a peek at the whimsically woodsy cake stand—what a way to frame the couple’s simple and sophisticated treat. Priscilla Thomas Photography captured it all, from the cake and the casual hors d’oeuvres, to the stars in the couple’s eyes–all the more enhanced by strings of café lights and the sounds of Crescendo Entertainment. Brittany and Patrick sealed the night with a kiss mid-sparkler sendoff, to which we say–cheers!
