Here at The Wedding Row we love everything Lowcountry, and the unexpected bunches of cotton popped into the floral arrangements at Chelsea and Jimmy’s wedding are certainly Charleston enough for us! Photographers Amelia + Dan captured every magical moment of the teacher and fireman’s gilded April evening, from Chelsea’s pre-aisle Facetime chat with her students to Jimmy’s vintage firetruck surprise. After the ceremony—an open air, crisp gathering on the greens of Lowndes Grove Plantation—guests sipped champagne while gathered around tables dressed in blush linen and wearing glam gold votives courtesy of The Burlap Elephant and Duvall Catering & Events. Bride and groom boogied into the reception tent, hands held high in victory, cut the cakes (yes, cakes plural—three simply sweet treats whipped up by Patrick Properties Hospitality Group pastry chef Jessica Grossman), and sealed the night with a kiss by the Ashley River. Add ancient oaks and string lights and it was Lowcountry living through and through. Congrats to the newlyweds!
