Allison and Shea’s peacock-palette wedding is surely nothing short of fabulous with its jewel-toned frocks, wild florals (featuring, of course, peacock feathers), and whimsy at every turn. But beyond the frivolities, there was an undercurrent that drove the family-first nature of the wedding home. Allison’s sister (and maid of honor) Caitlan had passed away just a few months before the celebration, but all knew that she would have wanted the festivities to go on. So with mention of her in the ceremony and toasts and photos of she and Allison dotting the reception, her presence was most certainly felt. And as for the celebrating? Blair of Mingle was there to make sure that they day was not only a sincere and heartfelt one for the couple, but also a stunning fete as well. Hibernian Hall was aglow with purple uplighting and filled to the brim with Branch Design Studio’s wild arrangements of dark-hued hydrangea, stock, and roses alongside blue delphinium and feathers. What a beautiful way for two families to come together for one another—just the foundation a marriage needs.
