15 Dec Allisyn & Austin {Private Residence}
When I found out that today’s bride works in historic preservation, it suddenly made sense why her Charleston wedding was so classic and romantic, and why she was so keen to let the natural and architectural charm of her beloved hometown shine through. Allisyn, a Charleston native, married Austin, a Texas boy, in a beautiful backyard ceremony at the College of Charleston President’s house. (While the house is not open for public events, the courtyard is available for small gatherings.) Immediately following the vows, the entire congregation paraded, sweet little paper flags in hand, to the nearby Cistern where Tim Robison Creative captured portraits of the newlyweds and a fabulous all-guest group picture, too. Everyone then flocked back to the President’s Courtyard for a cocktail hour, dressed seasonally with little white pumpkins and winter white arrangements of cotton and dusty miller sprung from milk glass vases, compliments of Branch Design Studio. Cheers to the happy couple and thank you for sharing your beautiful Charleston winter wedding with us!
