29 Oct Ayla & Charlie {Old Exchange Building}
I don’t think I’ll ever grow tired of blush and gold weddings, and Ayla and Charlie’s stunning Charleston celebration has only deepened my obsession with the palette. Bride Ayla, who rocked a woven hairstyle with white blooms during the Big Day, first joined Charlie for a ceremony in the garden of the Governor Thomas Bennett House before taking her new hubby’s hand and hopping into a carriage to their reception at the Old Exchange Building. There, the ladies of Loluma had dressed the place to the nines, and upon entering, the couple performed a romantic ballroom-style first dance leaving all of their guests breathless. Soft pink linens covered tables that were adorned with garden-style arrangements and flanked with gold chiavari chairs from Snyder—so very fitting for an elegant space that boasts of natural light, high ceilings, and ornate plaster moldings. Gorgeous and a big congratulations to the happy couple!
