06 Oct Jessica & Stephen {Gadsden House}
I can’t contain how excited I am to share Jessica and Stephen’s wedding—seriously. Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, but also it took place at one of the city’s newest venues, the Gadsden House on East Bay Street, which means we get to unveil another Charleston gem to you via gorgeous photos snapped by Riverland Studios. The photographers first joined Jessica and her maids started their day in the bridal suite of the immaculate 1798 Federal style mansion, where the bride donned a beautiful lace gown and tied on a champagne-colored satin sash. From there, they crossed the Peninsula and landed at St. Luke’s Chapel, where the couple exchanged vows in a sweet and small ceremony. Everyone then returned to Gadsden House, where Sage Innovations had filled the chandeliered rooms with tables covered in peach and tan linens, infinity chairs from EventHaus, and simple yet striking arrangements of Juliet roses, hydrangea, and seeded eucalyptus. The space unadorned is already stunning with its high ceilings, countless windows, wraparound porches, and fireplaces, so you can only imagine how her touches added up to pure loveliness at every turn. For dinner, Hamby Catering & Events served up delicious fare before Jessica and Stephen invited family and friends to join them on the dancefloor. When the celebration came to a close, the new Mr. & Mrs. ran through tossed lavender and departed on a rickshaw complete with “Just married” tin cans. Too cute! And big thanks to the couple for sharing your beautiful day with us.
