24 Jun Meghan & Brenton {Historic Rice Mill}
Have you caught your breath after tripping up over that image of today’s bride and her amazing veil? If so, let me introduce you to Meghan and Brenton, a California couple tied the knot with a nautical-inspired celebration at the Historic Rice Mill. Photographed by Sally Watts, this charming wedding features many moments that have me both seriously inspired and sincerely touched. One of my favorite moments would be when Meghan’s father, a former House Representative for Vermont, carefully carried the train of her stunning Lela Rose gown as she climbed into the vintage car that took her to the ceremony. So sweet. Once she and Brenton had quite literally tied the knot, the celebration continued inside with a reception featuring blushing blooms, sailing-themed table paperies, and a Pin-worthy wedding cake by accented with sugar paste magnolia blossoms. Pretty, pretty for sure. Dinner, dances, and dockside portraits took place in turn, resulting in an equally fabulous and beautiful event. Sighs all around. (And P.S. Lela Rose is now carried in town at Maddison Row…you’re welcome!)
