19 Jun Lacey & Joey {Historic Rice Mill}
To say that I have fallen hard and fast for brunch weddings is an understatement, and Lacey and Joey’s breathtaking affair has only encouraged my obsession. Soft morning light, a full day of celebrating, and a brunch menu—it just doesn’t get much better. Until, that is, you add in this wedding’s particular setting… Lacey and Joey’s ceremony took place on the draped (by Pure Luxe Bride) back patio of the Historic Rice Mill in a greenhouse-like atmosphere given the multitude of stunning bouquets and florals by Branch Design Studio. (To me, these flowers particularly epitomize spring’s softness, textures, colors, and whimsy.) Thankfully, the beauty continued inside with a garden rose-filled garland that framed a cake by Delicious Desserts and a chic lounge area made from some of my favorite pieces from Snyder Events. After the newlyweds and their guests had sufficiently brunched, danced, caught up, and thoroughly celebrated, the recently hitched pair headed out amid bubble to cruise away in a vintage Rolls Royce. Fabulous, yes? I’m so thankful that the oh-so-talented Aaron and Jillian Photography shared this stunning day with us.
