15 Jun Jessica & Jordan {Legare Waring House}
When Charleston native Jessica said “Yes” to Philadelphia boy, Jordan, she knew right away that they would say their vows under the avenue of oaks at the Legare Waring House at Charles Towne State Historic Site. Both having been raised in traditional Jewish families, they combined traditional religious wedding elements with creative and modern details like bright blooms, mix-and-match bridesmaid ensembles, and plenty of sparkle. Once the two were officially pronounced Mr. & Mrs., the celebration moved to Founders Hall, a chic and modern event space on the same site, where Mingle and Branch Design Studio had accented every corner. Blush-colored sequin linens, gold Chiavari chairs, chevron throw pillows, and pink blossoms spilling from golden compotes created a glamorous yet festive atmosphere perfect for their fun-filled reception. I mean, let’s face it, between dinner by Cru Catering, cocktails mixed by Squeeze OnSite, tunes by Palmetto Soul and a candy bar, it was an all-out party!
