16 Mar Rory & Richard {Legare Waring House}
With Charleston Weddings Magazine’s Spring Bridal Show just days away, the excitement is buzzing in the TWR office. The only thing that could make me slow down, grab another cup of coffee, and catch my breath is—of course—a truly gorgeous Southern wedding. Well, thank you, Rory and Richard for this little break! This darling couple, whose engagement session we featured last year, said “I do” under the oaks of the Legare Waring House in a gorgeous ceremony. A bold palette of yellow, blue, and white took shape under the clear-top tent via chiavari chairs, custom patterned table runners, blue stemware, and clusters of colorful blooms and votives from Sara York Grimshaw. But even amid all that loveliness, we would be amiss not to mention their incredible Jim Smeal wedding cake featuring the monogram they used on printed pretties throughout the day. Wow! As the sun began to dip down below the oaks, the bistro lights above cast a warm glow over the the newlyweds and their guests, creating the perfect atmosphere for the perfect dance party. We wish Rory and Richard all the best and thank them for sharing their gorgeous Charleston wedding with all of us!
