26 Jan Lauren & Daniel {Marions in the French Quarter}
We’re starting this week off with a wedding so delightfully pretty we’ve been pinching ourselves since it popped into the TWR inbox. Lauren and Daniel said “I do” under the dreamy oaks of the Confederate Home & College surrounded by family, friends, bridesmaids, and a troupe of flower girls with delicate floral wreaths atop their heads. As the sun began to sink in the sky, golden light filled every stunning moment snapped by Sara Bee Photography while a bagpiper lead the newlyweds and their guests through the historic district to their reception at Marions in the French Quarter. There the celebration commenced in a space enhanced with blush uplighting, crystal chandeliers, gold chivari chairs, and tables draped in navy linens. Gold compotes overflowed with hydrangeas, seeded eucalyptus, and roses, but the real show-stopper was most definitely the four-tiered cake with its gold floral motif by Delicious Desserts. Drinks were had, dances were danced, and before they knew it, it was time for Lauren and Daniel to make their way past sparklers, hop into a rickshaw, and depart as husband and wife. A big thanks to this sweet Charleston couple for letting us share their delightful day with everyone!
