14 Jan Randy & Adam {Historic Rice Mill}
While working with the United Service Organization Kandahar, Afghanistan, North Carolina native Randy met German-born Adam. Fireworks ensued and in lieu of a traditional date (given the circumstances), Adam asked Randy to join him for a simple cup of coffee. That cup of coffee led to a long-distance relationship from the USA to England, where Adam lived. In time, the two decided to share a life (as well as locale), and their Lowcountry “I dos” brought in guests from all corners of the globe. After the ceremony at Redeemer Presbyterian Church, maids dressed in a sherbet-rainbow of colors and dapper bow-tied gents in tow, Randy and Adam made way to the docks at the Historic Rice Mill for a vibrant photo op before heading inside for a modern reception styled by Ooh! Events. As their military brothers and sisters and other guests danced to the tunes of EPIC, Jeanne Mitchum Photography caught the bride smashing DeClare Cake’s gold-striped beauty in her new hub’s face—what a way to break him into American traditions… But we forgive her; with the to-die-for jeweled pumps Randy was sporting, we could just about forgive her for anything!
