01 Dec Paige & John {Hibernian Hall}
Why hello, December! Nice to see you again. We’re kicking off the final month of this fabulous year with a wedding brimming with so much inspiration and beauty that I’ve had to pinch myself once or twice. Paige and John’s Charleston wedding started with a sun-drenched ceremony on the lawn of the Confederate Home, where bridesmaids in peachy gowns toted lush bouquets and whispered to each other as they marveled over the frame suspended in the trees overhead, a frame covered in white linen and dripping in blooms. So romantic! Once the happy couple was officially Mr. and Mrs., Paige and John joined their guests in following a musical troupe to the stately Hibernian Hall. Inside the historic ballroom a subtle and sweet theme of a tandem bicycle showed in little details like escort cards hanging from gold-painted wheels and accented with little clusters of colorful flowers. Guests, seated at long banquet tables lined with gold chivari chairs, candelabras, and beautiful blooms of pink, peach, cream and green, dined on a delicious dinner by Cru Catering. After the night had been danced away (thanks to fun-lovin’ band, The Maxx) Paige and John departed in true Charleston style—via a rickshaw with an arch of white flowers. Amazing all around!
