One of the many reasons we are in love with bridal portraits is the practicality of them. After all, wearing your wedding gown an extra day means you get that much more mileage out of it! Bridal portraits are also the perfect opportunity to schedule your hair and makeup trials so that come the Big Day, you know exactly what to expect. Another tip? The sessions let you get to know (AKA loosen up with) your photographer, like the fabulous Dana Cubbage, who wasn’t thrown for one minute when it downpoured during beautiful bride-to-be Francesca’s portraits at the Legare Waring House. After hustling inside the stately home for stunning portraits, when the storm passed they headed out under the majestic live oaks to take advantage of the ethereal overcast light and for some truly breathtaking shots!
