15 Jul Meg {Lowndes Grove}
There is just nothing like a bridal portrait session at Lowndes Grove Plantation. First, there’s the waterside location and grounds that offer up plenty of natural Lowcountry backdrops perfect against any gown. Then there’s the historic manse itself, boasting of towering ceilings fringed with elaborate plasterwork, stately fireplaces, pastel-hued walls, and, of course, the iconic spiral staircase that runs through the center of the home. For this shoot, pretty bride Meg (who looked a vision in her tiered lace Augusta Jones gown from Gown Boutique of Charleston) and TWR photographer Dana Cubbage were lucky that a typical Charleston washout blew through just in time for them to take advantage of all of the plantation’s breathtaking scenes. Enjoy, dears!
