03 Feb Allison & Matt {Governor Thomas Bennet House}
When Allison and Matt got engaged it didn’t take long for them to decide on the Governor Thomas Bennett House in downtown Charleston for their wedding day venue—especially since the event coordinator at said historic site is the bride’s mom! Word soon spread through the event community that a daughter of “one of their own” was tying the knot and vendors flocked to join the wedding day effort. WED headed up the overall design and seamlessly flowed together a vintage-styled setting with flowers from Sara York Grimshaw’s SYG Designs and contributions from everyone from Loluma to Event DRS, and A Charleston Bride, among many, many others. When Allison donned her stunning Modern Trousseau lace gown, she looked every bit the lady of the manor, especially through the lens of the talented Evan Laettner. Take a peek at the flawlessly designed affair, which we have been swooning over all morning…
