I love those cloud nine moments…I am having one of them right now! Last night was the first anniversary for TWR party at Stems, and it was amazing. The esteemed pastry chef, Lauren Mitterer of WildFlour Pastry served up some of her oh so tasty treats. And by tasty, I mean savoy scones and decadent sweets that were knock it out of the park delish and enjoyed to the very last crumbs. Pastry Chef Mitterer was recently selected as a 2011 James Beard Chef Award Semifinalists and we could not be happier for her…and Charleston! The honor is given to the country’s top 20 best and brightest in the industry.  Deemed “the Oscars of the food world,” by Time magazine, The James Beard Foundation Awards are the country’s most coveted honor for chefs. Congratulations Lauren! Beyond making over the top treats, WildFlour Pastry also makes fabulous wedding cakes. We have had the pleasure of featuring her several times including Ashley & Nate, Sarah & StephenAngelina & Ike, Lacey & Jeffery and Kristen & Jonathan to name a few!
