Drumroll please…it’s time for all of you to greet Charleston’s newest, most unique, and in this case, chicest, tent in town! Meet the Teepee, the pride and joy of Sperry Tents Southeast, and the center of Tusk Events‘s bohemian retreat at Charleston Weddings’ May party, The Stars at Middleton. The event not only “starred” our fabulous Charleston Weddings and TWR vendors, but it also marked the recent collaboration between Sperry Tents Southeast and Middleton Place to offer incredible tenting options at a host of tucked-away gardens newly opened for events throughout the plantation’s lush grounds. Proposal parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, and receptions won’t get any more romantic than when staged here. As for the Teepee’s Charleston debut, the Tusk gals went with wild and colorful flora by Out of the Garden, a host of rattan birdcage chairs, settees, and a raised platform bed with funky throw pillows from Ooh! Events for lounging. Beyond being drawn to the tent’s “wow” factor, guests also flocked to its bar with raspberry and rosemary champagne cocktails from Icebox, and its resident henna artists.
