It’s always such a treat when we get to feature a wedding planner’s wedding. Samantha, owner of Samantha Anderson Events, knew that she wanted her and her fiancé, Maxwell’s, Big Day at Old Wide Awake Plantation to be Southern with a twist and let’s just say that we are loving every single one of those twists. The design was anchored by a custom crest that starred the couple’s monogram plus illustrations of bikes, golf clubs, flamingos, and pineapples (some of their favorite things), and it appeared on everything from the invitations to the ceremony backdrop, custom throw pillows, and that incredible confection by DeClare Cakes. Staying true to the crest palette of blue, white, pink and gold, Branch Design Studio arranged bouquets, garlands, and arrangements of magnolia leaves, white garden roses and mini pineapples—yes, mini pineapples. How darling! From beginning to end this wedding boasts charm, thoughtfulness and attention to detail at every turn. What a perfect way to kick off the week; cheers, Samantha and Maxwell!
