Ruby & Matt {Dataw Island Club}

 If there were ever a truly Lowcountry wedding, it was Ruby and Matt’s! This sweet couple, who had been together for eight years, tied the knot (literally) on Dataw Island outside Beaufort in a beautiful ceremony lead by Ruby’s grandfather, a retired shrimp boat captain. To continue to keep it in the family, Ruby wore her mother’s lace trim wedding veil and served a dinner that included her great uncle’s Frogmore Stew (he invented it on a shrimping boat and it was served at her grandparent’s seafood restaurant for years). Mix those thoughtful Southern family elements with classic and elegant details like blushing bouquets and beautiful printables and you’ve got yourself a wedding the ladies of Steel Magnolias would swoon for. Congratulations, Ruby and Matt!
