Meet Kaitlin and Allan, a couple whose love story is definitely one for the books. A few years ago, Allan suffered a traumatic brain injury, fell into a weeks-long coma, and was given barely a 20 percent chance of survival. Not only did he survive but he learned *everything* all over again, including walking. His biggest goal? Making it unassisted down the aisle to marry Kaitlin. Click here to read their full story and to see more photos like these from their engagement session. (Oh, and that parking deck? It’s where Kaitlin parked every time she came to sit with him at MUSC hospital. Oh, and did we mention he now works at the place where he did rehab? Seriously. These two.) images by Caroline Ro

We *all* love “Lucy” here in Charleston. This so-named 1950s Crown Supercoach carries up to 50 guests and gave Pawel and Kiernan and their wedding party a stylish lift to their festivities. How’s this for a clever switch-up? Instead of more typical multi-hued floral arrangements displayed in neutral vessels, SYG Designs let blue and white porcelain chinoiserie add color to Kristian and Mallory’s wedding rife with all-white blooms. / planning + design Sweetgrass Social / venue Lowndes Grove Plantation / florals SYG Designs / images Aaron and Jillian
