We love a wedding that exudes Lowcountry island charm all the way, and here’s one that does that in spades. Marina and Benson headed to Gold Bug Island, a tiny hideaway slip of land between Mount Pleasant and Sullivan’s Island, to say their “I do’s” on a grassy lawn overlooking the surrounding Lowcountry marshes. Photo maven Paige Winn captured every moment and every detail, too, including the peachy florals and artfully spare décor that kept this waterfront affair relaxed and elegant. Check out their darling, simple buttercream cake, for example, that was made perfect with just a couple peach Juliet garden roses added on top. Another tip: by taking advantage of the natural surroundings—both beach and woods—Paige gave this couple an extra-wide range of portraits. Just peek at what wonders she worked with the oyster shells found on site—just gorgeous!
