When the 1,00-year-flood struck Liz and Mike’s wedding day two Octobers ago, the pair took the deluge in stride because they knew that their amazing team of vendors, led by the planning mavens at Engaging Events, would take care of them and ultimately marry them off! After some serious behind-the-scenes magic, the blush and navy affair, which was originally organized as an outdoor tented affair, was moved to the Snee Farm Country Club in Mount Pleasant. “I got dressed and put the final touches on everything and was ready for the first look,” says Liz. “Imagine my surprise as I walked to meet Mike and saw all the beautiful tables, runners, place cards, flowers, white sofas and custom pillows. Everything I wanted was there, just in a slightly different location. Cindy and her team had transformed the club rooms and they were stunning, absolutely perfect. We were right where we were supposed to be, with each other. Nothing could ruin our day.” What a testament to the importance of trusting talented vendors—as well as focusing on what it’s all about: getting married! All our best, Liz and Mike.
